Students who have a 95 % homework average for second semester will be able to exempt a section of the semester exam

84 days til France.  Paris was named after the Parisii tribe that lived on the Ile de la Cite and Ile Saint Louis until the Romans conquered them.

LES DEVOIRS: lundi, le trois october

French 1:  We continued with regular verbs.  HW was a worksheet, and learn the vocabulary

French 2:  We talked about geography and history and a worksheet on commands for homework

French 3:  We worked on vocabulary in class

French 4:  We talked about the weekend in french and a worksheet on past tenses.  there is a pop quiz on imperfect tomorrow

LES DEVOIRS: mardi, le vingt septembre

You can earn this week’s extra credit, by bringing in a package of baby wipes to use on the board.  If you go to Itunes and go to the radio and look in the Top40 streams, there are a few French stations that start wtih Ado – that is French for teenager and you can listen to French music and American music mixed together

FRENCH 1:  Workbook page 4.  Today in class we practiced with vocabulary and did a worksheet.  You should know the new vocab words expertly.

FRENCH 2:  We worked in the IMC for the final research day.  You have a worksheet from Friday that is due tomorrow.

FRENCH 3:  We reviewed preterite and we started working on a dialog that is due Thursday.

FRENCH 4:  We reviewed the imperfect tense and the past tenses.  Homework is a new worksheet.

LES DEVOIRS: lundi, le dix-neuf septembre

Apparently none of the posts last week took.

FRENCH 1:  Study / learn the feminine list of nouns tonight.  When I told you to do this for Friday’s homework with the Masculine list, some of you got confused and didn’t do anything, your pop quiz results show that.

FRENCH 2:  We went to the IMC for the first research day.   You get one more and if you choose not to use it correctly tomorrow, you will be given an alternate assignment.

FRENCH 3:  We learned about how badly M. Noyes can label a map when he puts his mind to it.  We learned about the region of Picardie and we reviewed some past tense.  Tomorrow we will continue with passé compose and review Picardie.  Your homework was to finish the writings from Friday if you didn’t do it last night.

FRENCH 4:  You have activities that are due tonight at midnight online and you have the evens of the worksheet from Friday to do.

LES DEVOIRS: lundi, le douze septembre

Extra Credit for the week is posted and due on Friday at the beginning of your class

FRENCH 1:  Study for the chapter quiz tomorrow.  It will cover the questions and answers for when you meet someone.

FRENCH 2:  We continued to practice with the questions

LES DEVOIRS: vendredi, le neuf septembre

FRENCH 1:  We worked in the IMC and on Monday we will check the front of the worksheet you were given in class on Wednesday.  Be ready to finish speaking tests and numbers tests.

FRENCH 2:  You had to complete the second page of the worksheet packet and study the adjective page of vocabulary.  In class we worked on vocabulary and discussed Chartres.

FRENCH 3:  We graded a worksheet and had a speaking activity.  Homework was a worksheet

FRENCH 4:  We did a textbook activity and talked about movies in class
